The below footage was captured during the inward passage of the Baltic Merchant into Wisbech and shows some of the discharge operations as well as a glimpse of our Assistant Port Manager Dom and Yard Supervisor Nello (03:15)

You can see the vessel being piloted down the River Nene and approaching the turning basin where she swings with the tide and some tug assistance, before proceeding stern first to moor alongside at Port of Wisbech. During discharge we have both our Fuchs Rehandlers and clamshell attachments employed in order to discharge the vessel as quickly as possible, with the help of our friends at Fenland Haulage providing the tippers for shunting to and from the storage pile. Once tipped we use our telehandler to push up high and make room for further loads.
